Rushden Cavacade 2012

Show Dates:  5th, 6th and 7th May 2012.

Summary.

 

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CAME in 2011. EXCELLENT TRADING WITH THE 66,500 VISITORS THAT CAME.
This Site is for the Craft Marquee ONLY all other enquiries are via the Main Show Website (as below).

 

Number of Years: This is the 34th Show in 2012

Attendance: Normally about 25,000. 2011 saw record crowd of 66,500

Location: Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Northants just off the main A6.

Type of Show: Transport Based Steam and Vintage Rally. 

Craft Exhibitors: In Marquee

Set Up: From 4pm Friday and recommend you use a ground sheet to protect from the damp in the mornings.

Camping: Free to Stall Holders (water supply is very slow).

Evenings: The Beer Tent is open (mixture of real and regular Beers). With Live entertainment. Also the Fair Ground.

Tables and Chairs: Non Provided (non Available).

Electricity: Available free of charge. No halogen lights over 100 watts. No guaranteeof constant supply Maximum 

wattage allowance per stand is 300 watts. No kettles are to be used.

Sizes: All stall spaces are 6ft deep. No extra dept is available (strictly enforced).

Part Show Stands: Non Available you must attend all Three Days.

Overnight: Stalls may be left set up overnight at your own risk (marquee will be sealed at the end of the day).

Insurance: Public Liability Insurance is mandatory and you attend at your own risk.

New Applicants: Must Submit Pictures of Proposed Stand with application.

Crafts: No Mixed Craft Stalls. No bought in only stalls. Duplication kept to a minimum.

Wall and Corner Stand Spaces: Non available (at present) as taken by long term regulars.

Prices: See Application Form. All prices quoted are for the whole show and NOT per day.

Organisers: We will be in the marquee all weekend.

To book a stall space complete a form and return it to us with your deposit (ALL New stallholders, Pictures are required. Photos or Website Links). You can get a form from the Application Form page or Download Form page and print it (better quality the second way). Remember -  No fully bought in stalls allowed, this is a Craft Marquee. All wall space stands have now been allocated.

The Following Crafts are now FULL no more applications will be accepted.  We still have a vacancy for a Wood Turner in particular.

New For 2012

Those who have attended for a number of years will have seen the odd change over the years.

We have a few more for 2012.


It was hoped to completely change the order of the main marquees, effectively swopping us with Beer Tent. As the water pressure on site is bad and environmental health insists there is a fresh water supply to the Beer Tent. The extra footage would effectively kill the supply. So this is not possible. However we swoped the Model and Craft Marquee's over in 2011.
This will remain for 2012. As we are now further up the field and next to the Beer Tent.This did cause us some camping issues making space available to us much more limited and some will not be as close to the Craft Marquee as in the past. The day parking area will remain the same but is now at the end of the Model Marquee, this is stewarded by us. Anyone not happy with the close parking may used the main show car park. Also we will be able to hear the live entertainment better, may be a good or not late at night.  Marquee is joined to the Model Marquee with a full divide between us. Although joined we had our own entrances and no way to pass directly between the two parts. This will remain the same for 2012. Titan will again feature at the show on Sunday and Monday.
